After 5 innings tonight at Fraser Field, the Spirit trail the Worcester Tornadoes 4-3 in the rubber game of a 3 game set. 1 inning was in the books with the score tied 1-1 when lightning and pouring rains came to halt play.
The Spirit emerged from the 90 minute delay by taking a 2-1 lead but Worcester scored 3 unanswered to take it back 4-2 vs. John Kelly. A passed ball following a Marcos Agramonte triple in the 5th made it 4-3, where we stand now.
North Shore must win tonight to keep pace with Brockton and Quebec, who each won tonight to improve their records to 8-2.
