Spirit demolish the Jackals!!!

Well damn this would been a game to been at, but here is the details on a record breaking win, from the North Shore Spirit site.

The North Shore Spirit set new offensive team records for hits and runs as they exploded for twenty runs and twenty two hits in a 20-2 romp over the New Jersey Jackals at Yogi Berra Stadium.
The Spirit began the scoring in the third inning. With one out, Garrett Weir singled and one out later rode home on Marcos Agromonte's second home run of the season. New Jersey would tie the game against John Kelly (7-3) in the bottom of the inning on consecutive RBI singles by Zach Smithlin and Ricardo Cordova.
In the fourth inning,North Shore took the lead for good when Brian Macchi doubled home Travis Oglesby, who had singled.
The lead ballooned to 7-2 in the fifth. With one out, Marcos Agromonte reached on a bunt single, and after moving up on a wild pitch from Joe Orloski (4-3), scored when Rob Fischer's ground ball to shortstop was misplayed by Jackal shortstop Chris Rowan for an error. Vic Davilla then plated Fischer with a single. Alex Trezza's sacrifice fly and Brian Macchi's double finished the scoring in the inning.
The Spirit then blew the game wide open in the seventh inning. The key hits were an RBI single by Eric Storey,an RBI double by Garrett Weir,an RBI single by Yuri Sanchez, an RBI double by Marco Agromonte, an RBI single by Rob Fischer, and a three run homer by Travis Oglesby.North Shore scored eight runs on six hits in the frame.
Garrett Weir's RBI single in the eighth gave the Spirit a 16-2 advantage.
The batting onslaught continued in the ninth. Brian Macchi's third double of the game plated Vic Davilla, who led off the inning with a double. Eric Storey closed out the memorable evening with this fourth homer, a three run blast to left.
On the night, Marcos Agromonte went 3-for-5 with 3 RBI's, Travis Oglesby was 3-for-5 with four runs scored, Brian Macchi was 4-for-6 with three doubles and three RBI's, Eric Storey was 4-for-6 with four RBI's, and Garrett Weir was 3-for-6.
John Kelly went six innings for the win, followed in relief by Peter Soteropoulos and the newest member of the Spirit pitching staff, Joey Siack.
The Spirit and Jackals clash in game three on Saturday night at 7:05.
