A crazy idea

I know it won't/can't happen since people won't even clap at Spirit games, but whatever.

I was watching a soccer game yesterday between my favorite European team, Liverpool FC of England, and Newcastle United. Before the game, and after the win, as is tradition, the fans of Liverpool sang the classic song "You'll Never Walk Alone." There are few things as amazingly powerful as hearing the whole crowd of 40,000+ singing that song in unison. This is the best video I could find of it:

The song is one of great symbolism for fans, and I can't imagine that it doesn't pump up the team when they're on the road and they hear their fans singing, or they're down late in the game and their fans sing:

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your hearts,
And you'll never walk alone.

It would be pretty sick if the Fraser Faithful diehard section could establish a tradition like this. I personally can't sing, but if about 15 people do, it drowns out the individual badness.

News about the top 100 list:

I'm going year by year to pick out 30 nominees per season, then I'll weed the list down to 100, then start ordering them. I'm done with 2003 now and I'm starting on '04. If anyone wants to help me out by taking '05 or '06 and picking the thirty best games from that year, feel free.
