1. Was tonight the worst performance by a home-plate umpire all year?
2. Were you STUNNED that Kennedy didn't get ejected during that argument in the 7th inning? What do you set the odds at for Kennedy getting tossed when Katz is home plate ump tomorrow?
3. Where do you rank this on the list of most exciting wins of the year?
4. The mandatory rhetorical question du jour: How HUGE is it to add Rowan to this lineup?
5. Was this De Vries's best game in a Spirit uni?
6. With the actual crowd noise tonight, did you almost - ALMOST - feel like you were at a baseball game?

1. I'm really pining for SlimSlow right now.
2. I was chanting "number 10," referring to his 10th ejection that never came. Never fear. Odds are 3:2 that it'll come tomorrow. He'll already be hot under the collar, & it's Katz.
3. I'd say probably #2 behind the walkoff win over Brockton on Davilla's single.
4. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. He adds so many dimensions, speed, power, fielding. He makes the lineup much stronger by replacing an automatic out with perhaps the 2nd-toughest out in the lineup. That's no small upgrade.
5. It doesn't say much about De Vries's tenure here, but this was in fact a solid game by him. One hit (more than he usually gets), an RBI, two guys gunned (although one of 'em was a bad call), and a good play at home... gotta give credit where it's due.
6. Almost. I usually feel like I'm at a morgue; sometimes it upgrades from morgue to library. Tonight it was halfway between a library and a ballgame.
LMAO I know! how WOEFUL! at first i thought, maybe it's just because I'm used to that football guy. But no, it just sucked
1) Slim-Slow,Where Art Thou?! LMAO!!!!! He is seriously one of,if not,the best ump I've seen behind the plate this year.
2) With JK the way he was I'm VERY shocked he wasn't ejected....like said though, with Katz behind the plate tomorrow I think the chances go up considerably if Kennedy goes out to argue something.
3) Also got vote for #2 right behind DaVilla's walkoff single game Vs Brockton on June 21st
4)What Benoit said! ^_^ He is an absolute must for us and Wishey is looking like his old self again.
5) DeVries prob did have his best night in a while. Kudos to you Jon!
6) They were noisy at one point in the game....I SHOULD be happy with that, but I still think the crowds are pretty pitiful most of the time. It went from morque to library for me.
It almost sounded like Nashua for a small part of the game...
Ya,God Bless America just falt-out sucked tonight.....she even forgot the line or just got a 5-second-long case of stage fright. Buckly (sp?) is deffintly a lot better than that...thing.

4. Wasn't there
5. Didn't see it.
6. Didn't hear it.
I HAD to leave as the onslaught of Birthday party participants continue on a NIGHTLY BASIS to inundate the section in which I sit (or sat)unabated.
I cannot in good conscience continue to pay $10 per seat when these people pay 5 or 6 and are allowed to sit anywhere they wish and poke me with their STUPID Slugger pennants.
Perhaps this is not appropriate fodder for the Blog, I dunno; however it is becomiung increasingly difficult to watch the games enjoyably while knowing that SPIRIT Management and staff sit on their hands with their thumbs up their ass.
Maybe you should say something. It can't hurt.
