I'm listening to the live Rox broadcast. The Spirit broadcast starts on tape delay... 12 minutes ago. I won't post any spoilers here, unless I properly post an alert.
I do have a few humorous things to point out that I've heard on the Rox broadcast:
~The Rox are both selling and giving away playoff tickets already. Hmm... that's awful nice of us to let them sell OUR playoff tickets.. what with us being the only team in the playoffs and all, right?
~Massassoit Community College markets itself as "The College of Champions in the City of Champions." There are so many humorous angles I could go with on that, so I'm just gonna leave it alone and let you ponder it yourself.
~The Rox announcer is smooth and descriptive. But I must point out that he has said the "Lynn Lynn City of Sin" rhyme twice. If one more person in Brockton says that, I am going to bash them on the head and say "Brockton, Brockton, city of doing drugs then getting raped and murdered and thrown on the side of the road." It's not quite as catchy, but it's just as true.

Seriously, at least thirteen poeple- at LEAST- said that stupid rhyme to us yesterday, as if they were saying something original and humorous.
That rhyme is doen and old.......anyway,the City of Lynn has tried to promote a new slogan that the Spirit PROUDLY like the display in an attempt to make Lynn seem like less of a "shit-hole"......"Lynn,Lynn City OF Win!"
Jesus,if I'd heard another city of sin thing I would've gone all out about how their city's slogan doesn't even app;y anymore,whereas Lynn's sort-of does. They are the city of Boxing champions....BOXING! When was the last time their city won a damn boxing titel worthy of praise?!
