It was a total blowout tonight by the Spirit as North Shore rolled all over helpless New Haven, 11-0.
Joey Siak shut out the Cutters pitching very impressively. Jarred Stawarz, however, was rocked for 10 earned runs on 12 hits in 3.2 IP.

Tonight's "Burning Questions" - hard on such a perfect night!
1. WTF was the deal with Nick calling the cops and going down to talk to that guy in section B? Anyone know?
2. How nice is it to see the Spirit returning to OLD SCHOOL Spirit baseball- grinding it out, hustling, running, being aggressive, putting the pressure on? It's been very entertaining the last two days. How much does Rob Fischer's arrival have to do with that?
3. BJ Weed's diving catch to protect the 10-run lead was entertaining and a sign of a true warrior. But do you think Kennedy told him "maybe next time, let that one drop?"
4. How much does lynncam s-u-c-k suck suck suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. :)

Tonight's win was VERY impressive and a return to old-school Spirit. Great job by everyone,espeically Siak. Siak is just gettign better and better.....I love it!!
Now,onto the "burning questions"....
1) ?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
2) I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THE RETURN OF US PLAYING LIKE THIS!!! Maybe Fisher's presence instead of Weir's has something to do with it,but I doubt it has THAT much of an effect.
3) Kennedy COULD'VE been like that at first...but then he might've been like "This is good." because it shows our opponents we may be in the playoffs,but we're not playing dead...we're still trying as hard as we can.
4) Yeah,they suck really bad.....I heard audio sucked too. :-p

The 11th run was scored on a RBI double by Jeff Brooks in the bottom of the 8th.
