We're losing

I've been watching the Boston College football opener tonight (a disgraceful performance.. we won, but JUST BARELY over Central Michigan), and I just tuned into the game to find it's 7-2 Quebec. Well, all streaks must end at some point, I suppose.

Who was the starting pitcher tonight and how did the runs score? Anyone know. I can't post a wrap or anything, but if anyone else wants to, feel free.

Update: Evidently, earlier in the game we bought into LaPlante's bush league frenchy bullcrap as Rob Fischer charged the mound and was ejected after being hit by a pitch for a 3rd time this series. Screw Quebec.

Update 2: Game over , Quebec wins game 3 of the series 8-2. Whateva. Magic number still 1. I don't like the fighting b.s., that's what I'm upset about, not the loss.

What's the lowdown on why Garrett was let go?

I HATE LaPlante. What an ass.
No way you can get me to think these are unintentional.

Here we go again

Trout & Kennedy tossed after a HBP

Cut the shit, boys, let's get the fuck out of here, we don't need this.

Garrett was cut after he got suspended for 5 games for throwing his helmet at the ump. Evidently the Spirit were sick of his attitude and that was teh boiling point

Which is precisely why LaPlante is pulling his bullshit, to try to get us off our game for our potential playoff matchup. Fuck him, fuck Quebec.

someone has an unhealthy obsession with bic haha.

it seems like he isn't doing as well lately. still solid numbers all around though. i hope he gets a callup and stays in the system.. i do NOT want to see him on the hill for Brockton..

Well, for that to happen, Ryan would have to get traded from St. Paul to the Rox -- yes, I know the same ownership group is in place, but I've haven't seen any "Capitablo" b.s. from the Rox ownership. In fact, if St. Nick does call it a day, I'd be pleased knowing that this group would more than likely buy him out - and I think they'd be smart enough to make sure that Clancy can't change the lease.

Joe,
I hate to see any player charge the mound either, but that was the 5th time Fish had been hit in this series, and the second time in last night's game. At this point you can't risk retaliation by Morse, so think he was frustrated at being a target. Sometimes you have to make a statement before someone gets seriously hurt.

Where are you seeing that? Neither the CanAm site nor the AmAss site have his name beyond the Fischer trade.

Hey Guys....
For those of you who voted...Thank You! Btw - We don't know anything about Brockton. Besides....Ryan would never play there.
