I'm with ya on that one Joe,that Langdon guy rang a bell with me when I read his name. The other one I'm not so sure of.
Perhaps they were both tryout rejects. I have my papers somewhere,I could check it out later.
Langdon they got via the Bethel trade; looks like he got no invites to the affiliates, so he signed.
Perez was in camp in 2004 and played well, but was probably let go because he was either a veteran or an LS-5.
While he's a local product, he hit .290+ in his two seasons with Newark (2004-2005). It appears that he was hurt and missed the 2006 season.
