I don't even know what to say. This is terrifying.

I heard about this first at Radioshack up at the mall.......that's just horrible to hear.
What I don;t get is why nobody was able to stop the gunmen earlier then they did. I mean, that many dead and the toll could've been lower.
Hindsight is 20/20... if you haven't seen "Bowling For Columbine," you probably should. Quite frankly, this could have been worse -- doesn't take too much imagination to think of how one could kill 40 or 50 by walking into a Freshman-level intro class at UMass, if given the proper "motivation" and weaponry. Sadly, neither is in short supply in this country.
Good points,didn't think of that.
But from what I hear they killed one person the n wnet on their rampage a while after that, after a random killing wouldn't someone have been the outlook for a killer is all i'm saying.
ALSO,I've never seen that movie--I may now if I get a chance.
If one person in that class had a gun, the crime could have been prevented, or at least it would have been less disastrous. Instead the only people with guns in 'gun free zones' are hell-bent criminals. Nice work!
Joe - You might want to watch, too. The gun-as-deterrent chimera (funny how silent the NRA has been about this, isn't it?) is about as specious as the similar argument for the death penalty
I have seen it.
I support gun control.
But I don't support 'gun free zones.'
Gun free zones might as well be called slaughter zones.
