Spirit Lose In Wet Game @ The H.I.P.

!~! Sorry for the lae update,we got home at 1ish last night then i went to see fine woman's baseball at Fraser (hahaha!) !~!

I don't feel like writting a game report on this game because the game wasn't that good.

Here's a few notes I have too add though before you read the recap:
** There was a t-storm that dumped huge amounts of water in the area. On the way back from dinner we went on the highway and could barely see.....then we got to the field. In right field there was a gigantic puddle that workers kept trying to clean, even mid-game. There were also puddles everywhere in the foul areas. The groundscrew did a pretty good job of cleaning this up though.
** We all thought "hey, let's call this game, the field is still bad' but i found out today that they couldn't have played a DH todfay fro some odd reason. Anyway, the field was good, but still pretty bad.
** For the national anthem they had the words go across the message board. At first they went slow, then caught up to the singer, then went ahead, and came back around to catch up. I found that pretty amusing.
** There were quite a few plays that should've been errors, but given the field conditions I quess they aren't REALLY errors.
** Carlos Rodriquez had two double plays......he was very good tonight defensivly--offensively,not so much (0-for-4)
** The ZOOperstars were there tonight, they were pretty entertaining. The spirit should get these guys. =]

OK, Here's the game report from northshorespirit.com:
Josh Beauregard drove in a pair of runs with a key triple and Andrew Wishy homered to lead the Worcester Tornadoes to a 6-3 win over the North Shore Spirit at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.

Worcester would score first in the game for the third straight time in the series. In the bottom of the second, Yohanny Valera,, Patrick Perry, and Keith Beauregard all stroked singles for a 1-0 lead. The Spirit tied the game in the third as BJ Weed walked and moved up on a Darren Blakeley bunt single. Mike Torres singled to center to tie the game at 1. North Shore pulled ahead 2-1 in the fourth on back to back doubles by Jersen Perez and BJ Weed with two out.

The Tornadoes scored a pair in the fourth to pull ahead 3-2. Andrew Wishy and Yohanny Valera laced consecutive doubles, and Jeff lahair then drove in Valera with the go-ahead run with a single. Worcester extended the advantage to 5-2 in the sixth. With two outs, Keith Beauregard reached on an error by Alex Trezza at first base, and after a single by Lahair, Josh Beauregard tripled to right to score both runs. The Spirit cut it back to 5-3 in seventh on back to back doubles by Darren Blakeley and Mike Torres.

Old friend Andrew Wishy homered off Jamie Baker in the bottom of the seventh t finish out the scoring. Matthew Bishop (2-2) took the loss for the Spirit and was relieved by Baker, who finished up.

Time: 2:36 Attendance: 2461 <-- seems right
