It's been confirmed on Northshorespirit.com that the last original Spirit, Bryan Morse, has been traded to Brockton to complete the deal for Galvez and Hough.
Does that give anyone else an uneasy feeling?

Not really. Morse hadn't been lights out as he'd been in years prior. I'm more uneasy with how Bicondoa is uneven from start to start.
I am VERY concerned.
Morse neeed not be "lights out" to be very effective.
Players feed off the atmosphere surrounding the club, and I suspect it may have been part of Bryan's somewhat subpar performance so far this year.
Having said that, this may be just the shot in the arm he needs to bring back his "A" game; certainly teaming with Kelly will be a plus for him and I suspect, The ROX.
What we don't need is a reason for the ROX to become a contender, and with these Guys on their game, it would be a tough 1-2 punch.

Sparky's got a good point,if Morse returns to his normal self having that 1-2 punch of Kelly-Morse will be tough on any team.
I still wanna know what happened with Morse all this time......and also slap someone for getting rid of both the last remaining original spirit and,normally, a damn good pitcher.
I just don't understand how you can trade one of the best pitchers in Spirit history to one of our rivals. Just doesn't make sense.
Does anyone possibly think that the big guy is trying to make the team respectable, but not contenders? This way there will be fewer fans and more of a reason to pack up shop and leave town. Any thoughts?

That doesn't seem logical.
If Nick wants to go he'd want to SELL. You want the team to be winning to get more $$$$$$$.
It's all about the $$$$$.
But I think it does. We all know how Nick acts. He's not one to blame put the blame on himself. He would say, "Due to a decrease in attendance and average play on the field, I have decided to fold/sale the team." I don't think it's that far fetched.
