Did not see/hear the game, but tonight's come-from-behind 3-2 win against the Jackals paired with the Surf's 12-7 loss to the Grays gives the Spirit their 2nd consecutive 2nd half title.
Onward & upward...

I think this playoff structure sucks!; IDIOTS.
Antone see the brawl @ the game tonight?, it looked like AC when I got a glimpse on the news.
hehehehe....."IDIOTS"......h/o,what?? O_O
Someone told me that if the Spirit aren't coming back next year. Please tell me its not true and they were just teasing me. I love the Spirit!
I've been trying to check canamleague.com all morning for league results and the site has been down :(

Boys - I just got off the phone w/ Brent Connolly and it's true: The Spirit believe the parking conflicts outweigh having a chance to see them win it all at home.
that is such crap
we already know they are abandoning us after this season, now they kick their fans in the mouth one more time on the way out the door... all season long we fight for the best record with the end result being home field advantage, and we're going to pass it up...
...we might just win the title in our last ever season, but we won't get the chance to see it at home... that's just frustrating...
How do we "already know" this is the Spirit's last season?
i cannot confirm that, but the writing is on the wall
Joe - The sad thing is, I had booked a flight, motel room and rental car for the 13th-16th. Granted, I may still need the flight if Nashua wins in the first round, but what's more likely to happen is a Jackals-Spirit rematch, to which I can drive. I'm happy about that, in that it's cheaper, but I'll be like the only Spirit fan in either NJ stadium.
AND THAT is why they shouldn't be able to arbitrarily change the schedule!! grrrrrrrrrr that sucks for you man, I hope it works out...
I'd love to be in AC/NJ but I just don't see it happening...
Please tell me you guys are teasing me about this is the last year. I'm going to cry. This can't be the last season. Nick wouldn't do something like that to us kids. But I'm going to tell my Grandma to buy a lottery ticket and if she wins a gazillion $ then i can buy the Spirit. IT'S NOT FAIR WE WON'T GET TO SEE THEM WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP AT HOME!!!

Has the Spirit even considered using another place for parking-- the MBTA station or something-- and running free shuttle buses from that site to the game so we watch the Spirit take the titel at home.
As sick as that would be, it would cost way too much money.
Here's an idea, why can't they play the FUCKIN hs fb games on Sat afternooon?!?! seriously....
Joe - I was thinking about this on my run this morning, and I remembered an article you had posted from the Telegraph that basically said that the winners of the halves had the choice of opening at home or on the road.
I also suspect, however, that the parking "problem" is merely a cover story to distract us from the fact that this plan gets the Spirit two guranteed games vs. one. I find it hard to believe that after spending so much money that St. Nick can't "request" that the Friday night game be shifted to that afternoon (last I checked, kids get out of school @ 2 p.m. and somehow this does not prevent baseball games from being played)
