I'll be heading up with Sparky......so I'll have some pics and, maybe, a video or two in a day or two (classes will make things hectic).

I'll be listening!
I'm so nervous I can hardly stand it.
We're going to win this one easy!
fuck! luis rodriguez bases clearing triple. 3-0 teh pride
It's only the end of the first inning. The Spirit have been in worse positions many times and have come back to win it.
yeah, like that rally over the tornadoes, or even against the surf in the first round. no worries for me
Nothing will ever beat that rally against the Tornadoes!
yeah. I remember when we were down by 10 runs maybe it was 7 and we won. We can do this. GO SPIRIT
I want to hear Nick Lopardo on the air. I think he brings us good luck when he goes on the air at away games.
Oh Oh. this is NOT good!
I just got back from work --- what happened?
I have a feeling there's going to be an ejection at some point tonight with all this arguing with the umps.
Wat to go Alex!
I can just imagine how excited you are right now with Alex making that great play!
The umps are picking on the Spirit and Trezza and DaVilla were arguing with them. It's probably the punk kid ump that threw them out of the game at Fraser earlier this season.
I would have been more excited if trezza hit a home run instead of a base hit last time he was at bat
Luis Rodriguez tripled in the first inning to make it 3-0 Pride. Spirit then scored a run in the 2nd. Alex Trezza just made a fantastic play to 2nd to pick off the guy stealing 2nd. Richard Katz (sp) is not the Spirit's favorite ump right now. They think he's calling the strike zone differently for the Spirit then he is the Pride. He's had to warn the dugout already.
LETS GO TREZZA!
Victoria, this blog will be announcing an 'official effort' once this series is over in terms of getting baseball back to Lynn in the near future.
Since you've been so important in the effort so far, however, I'd like you to have some input. Email me at gravellj@bc.edu with any ideas you have.

I don't care about just any baseball. I want the Spirit and nick Lopardo. I'm going to do everything I can to keep them here. I wish I know why the mayor hates the spirit and the kids in Lynn. he could have kept them here if he was nicer.
Ok, the 5th inning seems to be when the Spirit start coming alive. Let's hope that rings true this time as well.
Lets go BJ!! Let's Go Spirit. BJ's overdue for a home run
The Mayor has no choice in the matter. Nick owns the team. The city has nothing to do with them except for the fact that the city owns the land they play on. I wish the Spirit would stay as well but I don't think it's in the cards for us Spirit fans. It's so sad.
BTW, an 'official' game post is now up... come join us

Thanks for trying to make me feel better about baseball in Lynn but if the Red Sox were going to quit and not be a team anymore people would try to save the team. Nobody would want just anyother team. they would want the Red Sox.And I have to try to save our team because its our team.
