Watch it and smile

There's joy in Fenwayville again tonight -- huge win. Grant and I will be heading to Fenway very early to camp out for tickets to see Schilling win Game 6 on Saturday night.

Just come down to Fenway at midnight or so and wait with us, you'd get tickets for face value. lol.

"Don't let us win tonight...cause then we got Pedro tomorrow and Schilling in game 6 and ANYTHING can happen in game 7..."

Also...trez fan, I think you just accidentally revealed yourself as anon #1... :-P

Hey Grant-
It was me-- Anon #1 that posted re: the tickets but my PC was down so I used Victoria's. I forgot to log her off. Seriously is anyone going in for tickets? If tickets are available I really NEED 2 bleacher seats-- I can only pay $10 over face value though.

I want to go but I don't know how expensive tickets are and am too tired to go......but if someone were to get them for me (and let me know) I'd gladly pay them back and an extra $10 for getting them for me :)

GO SOX! With Shill we should win Game 6 & I hope when it goes to game 7 they start Beckett not Dice K. I don't think Dice K has the heart and desire to win some of the other guys have. I don't know why the pitchers need 4 or 5 days rest anyway. I have watched Spirit pitchers play 7-9 innings for 4 nights in a row. Okay so they don't throw 95 miles an hour but they work hard and don't whine about needing days off. Geesh. MLB should stop treating players like babies & make them play.
GO SOX! Remember when Shill played with the bloody sock?

If we go to game 7, then Dice-K IS expected to start. Beckett will try to make himself available in the bullpen for game 7,along with jon lester and tim wakefield.

Tito has his eyes on Dice-K--should he start to suck,he'll pull him and put one of the others in there.

i have confidence in Schilling--but we may need a little luck tonight, this is a very good Indians team.

Beckett will NOT, repeat NOT be available in game 7 no matter what.
Why?,
Because someone (Beckett) has to start game 1 of the series on Wednesday.

Come on will Ya'?

Sparky, you dumbass, you have to win Game 7 of the LCS before you can worry about Game 1 on the W.S.

It's not like Beckett has done that before, has he?

Hmm, let me check here.

Game 5, NLCS, 2003 Beckett pitches CG SO on 115 pitches on Oct. 12. Marlins trail series 3-2.

Then Game 7...wait a minute, that can't be right. Josh Beckett comes in during the 5th inning and pitches 4 innings of relief on two days' rest?

Did he do okay in the World Series that year?

Woodne's points coupled with a quote from Josh made me say "cool,he'll be available."

And even Tito said he'd be available.
I've got a GREAT feeling about tomorrow! ^_^

I REALLLLY wanna go :'-[

I think we'll see Beckett pitch by the top of the 5th. Go Sox! And who's coming to my World Series Party next Saturday? Grandma's cooking. Chili, Nachos. Hot Dogs. What else do you guys want?

On Monday , when we will all see that Beckett didn't pitch, will I still be a dumbass?. I think not.
Is everyone available?, maybe on paper.
Thanks wooden for stating the obvious in a way only you can (read I am superior to all of You.)

I'm making a RIP YANKEES gravestone for the graveyard I put in my front yard for Halloween. I hope I can make a Tribe gravestone to put next to it tomorrow :)
Go Sox! Beckett WILL be on the mound sometime tonight

On Monday [sic], when we will all see that Beckett didn't pitch, will I still be a dumbass?.[sic]

Yes, yes you will. Because you've proven it so many times previously. In case anyone thinks I am alone in the assessment that Beckett could pitch (note the linking verb; it's not "would" or "will" -- something to consider while you're studying for your GED, Sparky)

"Francona did say that he expected Beckett to be available on two days' rest to pitch out of the bullpen."
-- N.Y. Daily News

"Asked whether starter Josh Beckett, who has won two games in the series, would be available out of the bullpen, manager Terry Francona replied: 'I would think so.'"
-- The Province

"Francona said after the game that all of his pitchers would be available tonight, including ace Josh Beckett, if needed."
-- Boston Herald

"All arms figure to be available, though, and don't be surprised if Boston pulls Daisuke Matsuzaka in favor of Josh Beckett at some point because Terry Francona will want the game in the hands of his best pitcher when it's on the line."
-- ESPN Diamond Daily

Wooden--now it's going a little too far.

You prooved your point, others have said they believe it as well........two things to consider:
1) It's only his opinion and ponyl our oopinions
2) You sound like a complete jackass,which i know you're not

Read, feel and see the momentum as it is playing out before your eyes.
We will not need Josh tonight, and I believe he will not pitch.
Stating the obvious--all hands on deck-- just attempts to undermine everyone's pre-existing knowledge of the game; as if one knows more than all the rest.
I could also list comments from Joe Girardi, Harold Reynolds et al that say it would or could or might or may --take your pick asshole--ba a mistake to use Beckett in any fashion in gm 7, I just won't.
Dice-K is due and I, like Schill feel he will be in top form.
I don't feel the need to buy into all the media hype and bull the media types feel the need to talk about.
Maybe Wooden's little brother failed his GED, I don't know.... seems to be a sore spot w/him.
What I do know is Wooden is a pencil neck who talks tough but is really just a wuss; he don't bother me.

Wooden U. Lykteneau said...

But at least I'm man enough to put a verifiable signature next to my thoughts.

Joe - Can we PLEASE ban anonymous comments now? With the Spirit no longer, there's no reason to let shitheads like this hide.

Wooden= Big fish/small pond.
If you can't follow the string to determine who's responding to your idiocy, well ain't that jus too bad?. Boo-Hoo[sic].
Signature my ass.....

Sparky... good enopugh for ya?, huh asshole?

Wooden U. Lykteneau said...

No signature = no dick.

And without a signature, there's no way to tell definitively whether it's
Sparky or any other philistine/poseur.
