I didn't post about the game today because I didn't want to ruin it in case anyone decided to listen to the tape delay broadcast. I presume it's over now.
At this point you can get the recap of the 10-5 loss anywhere so I'm gonna cut to the Discussion Topiqs du jour:
1. Are you worried about Morse?
2. Are you worried about Fitzgerald? What would you do about the closer situation?
3. What's the deal with McNamara pitching out of the 'pen today?
4. What the hell is wrong with Andrew Wishy? He looked so good early on.
5. How would you choose to re-jigger the lineup upon Rowan's return? i.e., can we afford to keep having Vic play 3rd, because he cost us two runs today.

1. No.
2. Yes. I'm always worried about Spirit closers. Dugan is making a good bid for himself right now.
3. Perhaps we're going to a 4-man with 2 offdays coming up in the next 10 days, in order to strengthen the bullpen. That's just a guess on my part though, maybe someone else will know better.
4. I don't know, but it's a real drag to be putting together a rally, then see Wishy-Sabino-Brown appear as the next three to come up. Although to be fair Luis is heating up.

For our loyal and devoted fans, a note of information:
There are only 2 remaining tape delayed games left on our schedule-this Sunday against Sussex and next Sunday against Brockton. Every other game is slated to air live.
Thank you.
1) I am a little....but I'm VERY sure he'll return to old form in another few days. Maybe the 2 days rest or w/e got to him am little.
2)I am a little concerned for Fitzy. He hasn't been himself lately, but I think that when the playoffs come around he'll be good. Right now I see Rival as the closer and Dugan and Robinson switching set-up and relief roles here and there.
3) I agree with both Joe and Beniot. If they need a 5th starter he'll return....but right now they're prob keeping it 4-man for a while as they use the bullpen more and more.
4) His mechanics do seem a bit out of sync. He was one of our best hitters early on but lately it seems like he's struggled a bit....or,as said, the pitchers have figured him out. Either way,I DO expect him to be back into the swing of things-no pun intended.

This is assuming Reininger is out all year. If he is back then him at third and Brown as the UTl INF with Sabino left as the UTL OF.....but playing a few games in right.
hmmmmmmmm......I wonder who Olivier is??
*Bum,bum,BUMMMMMMM!!!!!!*
