The Spirit survived their crazy road trip and limp home with a 2-4 record on the trip. Going into it I was hoping for 3-3, but given the circumstances they probably deserve credit just for eeking out the two.
Tonight, Rob Fischer and Chris Rowan should be back in the lineup. If that's the case, the Spirit can hopefully have a good homestand with a complete, solid lineup. North Shore takes on New Haven the next three days, then Sussex over the weekend.
This is our chance to take back our throne as #1 team in the league on the field vs. New Haven.
GO SPIRIT!!
PS: Don't let Rob Fischer's first at bat begin until you get at least some of the sheepish lifeless characters around you stand up and give the guy a rowsing ovation upon his return to Fraser Field!

I did not hear anywhere that Tim Dugan was injured, yet he was placed on the DL retroactive to 7/22.
I can't help but wonder if this is the first step in bringing in another arm.
Hmmmmmm. Wonder who it couild be?.
Won't be Aaron Myers; too bad after he threw a no-no yesterday.
