First off Spirit win tonight over Sussex 6-3, and Joe will be posting soon a complete recap and the burning questions, i figure why not post something myself, and this new feature will just accompany this blog's best coverage of the North Shore Spirit.
1. I have never seen that many throws over to first base by both teams. Im sure there was a reason but it got to be ridiculous at times.
2. Overall a really solid night by the Spirit defense with great plays by Vic, Ryan, Chris, and a nice DP started by brooks, some of those plays were webgem quality.
3. Its obvious but the team is so clearly much better with Fischer and Rowan back in the lineup.
4. Speed also a great asset to have on the team especially thanks to Sabino and Weed.
5. And lastly props to Matt Bishop for giving us 7 solid innings and getting the win tonight.
PS- I know its Fireworks but Fraser is so much more fun when you got a good crowd tonight (3083).
