The Spirit won 7-4 today to snap a 4-game losing streak despite continuing to have a lineup plagueed by injuries.
I didn't listen to the whole game, just the first three innings- but I can say that the best moment was when Morgan Brown got his first career Spirit RBI in (I believe) the 3rd inning. Bishop pitched solidly to earn the win.
The rubber match will be tomorrow afternoon at 2:05 with McNamara on the hill. The game will be on LIVE because the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race isn't broadcast on MRN radio, it's on a special more expensive network, the "IMS" network, and 1510 the Zone hasn't payed for the rights to that. But enough about that, nobody else cares... the main thing is, the game will be on the radio live.

Sounds like the Spirit are on the rebound with the return of a sort-of-regular lineup. When we get Fischer and Macchi get in there and Rowan back I think we'll have a pretty damnn good lineup. Hopefully this all happens soon enough.
