The North Shore SPIRIT today completed the three game game sweep and the homestand against the Shyhawks.
The soft-tossing Joey Siak threw an impressive, yet understated three hitter for the win.
The good Ole' home cookin' continued today despite the persistent Anemia that has at times plagued the SPIRIT offense.
With B.J. out with a Hammy and his return date as yet undetermined, JK had some juggling to do. His efforts were rewarded with a strong defensive effort. Nice to see old Pal Rob Fischer back in Center where he appeared to be very comfortable making a couple nice catches as well as showing his arm strength keeping runners from advancing on fairly deep fly balls.
The SPIRIT travel to West Haven to play the Cutters in a three game set midweek. They return briefly for the opener of the next series on Friday against Cup Foes Brockton before trekking down to the South Shore Saturday to resume the "home and Home" series; hope some of Y'all can attend.
Is Joey Siak the nuts or What?
Anyone get an update on B.J., J.D., or Farley?.
Will the SPIRIT Brass have to do some fast dancing to get an arm in here and forego an infield guy?
