The Spirit have signed rookie OF Shaun Lehmann out of the University of Kentucky.
His '06 numbers were not so good:
.244/.377/.453
199 AB, 5 HR, 26 RBI
'05 was fine:
.352/.444/.538
172 AB, 8 HR, 32 RBI
No pro track record for the guy and a confusing college record - albeit in a power conference in the SEC. He'll probably be battling for a spot in camp.
If I'm not mistaken, that's 4 guys the Spirit have signed out of UK this offseason, right? Any connection there?
