Spirit Win

I wasn't at the game tonight, so I'll post the generic Can-Am recap. Good win for the boys- much needed.

North Shore 3, New Jersey 0

@ Lynn, MA. Time: 2:23 Attendance: 2152
W: Matthew Bishop (1-1) L: Josh Brey (2-1) S: Kevin Fitzgerald (2)
HR: None
North Shore starting pitcher Matthew Bishop pitched eight innings of shutout baseball and CF BJ Weed had two hits and two runs to give North Shore the 3-0 win. Relief pitcher Kevin Fitzgerald entered in the ninth inning and retired the first three batters he faced to close out the game. New Jersey had seven hits but couldn’t find a way to cross the plate. Jackals starting pitcher Josh Brey only allowed four hits and one earned run in six innings, striking out five, but took the loss.

They played magnificnetly tonight.
I'm surprsied that Brey stayed in as long as he did.
he started to falter more and more as the game went on,more notabely in the 5th and 6th (to me)

I also have to give Vic props for what he did in the ninth. He left in Bishop to face one batter then took him out for Fitzxy, allowing the crowd to show their appreciation.
