Thumped

Thumped by the Grays, 10-1.

All together now:

It happens.

Joey Siak was uncharacteristically bad on the hill, the Grays tee'd off, and the Spirit could do nothing against game winner Beau Danemiller.

As easy as last night's game was, that's how rough this one was.

Tonight's Jon de Vries moment: Josue Lopez hits a high pop up in the 5th; the catcher drops it , but Josue wasn't running and he's thrown out at first base.

Yep, it was one of those games.

"3 home runs in one game has been an extreme rarity this season in the CanAm League, and especially for the Spirit - so this was a moment to enjoy."

Back-to-back nights with three homers in one game.....yay,it's a trend!

Heard Anton French has been released- apparantly he was not too happy to be playing for the Spirit and let it be known. Its a shame ....he was a good player.
